A dedicated Level 2 wall charger on its own circuit is the usual setup for an Adelaide home — typically around 7 kW on single-phase supply, or higher where three-phase is available and the car can use it. That is a wall-mounted unit, not a normal power point. Most current EVs sold in Australia use a Type 2 connector.
We can install a charger you already have, once we confirm it suits your supply and parking spot, or spec a suitable unit that meets Australian requirements.
Every job starts with your switchboard and meter: spare capacity, safety switches, the cable route to where you park, and whether a board upgrade is needed first. Charger supply, electrical work and any board work are quoted together.

What we install
Wall chargers built for overnight charging.
We mount and commission Level 2 units where you park — garage, carport or driveway wall — with a dedicated circuit from the switchboard.

- App setup on the day if the charger includes it.

Before install day
Switchboard and supply come first.
A charger is only as good as the board behind it. We assess load, spare ways and RCD protection before we quote the install.
- Check whether your existing board has capacity — or price an upgrade in the same quote.
- Plan the cable route: roof space, trench or surface conduit where that is the honest option.
- Confirm parking position, wall strength and distance from the switchboard.

Install day
Mounted, tested, and walked through with you.
We do not leave a box on the wall and disappear. You know how to start a charge, what the lights mean, and when to call us.
- Mount the unit, run and terminate the circuit, test and commission.
- Set up the app if the charger has one.
- Label the new circuit at the board and leave the work area tidy.

Why not a power point?
A GPO is slow — and often not safe for the load.
A 10 A general-purpose outlet is slow and not meant to run a car charger for hours. A proper charger is on its own circuit, with the right cable size and protection.
- Dedicated circuit and correct cable size — no sharing with the laundry.
- RCD protection and the usual compliance paperwork for a fixed appliance.
- Room to add more load later if the board is sized properly now.
